Tyler Pappas

The Owner.

My name is Tyler Pappas, and BMWs have been at the center of my life since the day I performed my first engine swap at age 16 in my parents’ garage in Manasquan, NJ. That single project sparked a lifelong passion — one that led me through years as a BMW dealership technician and ultimately drove me to build Tyspeed into one of New Jersey’s premier independent BMW performance and service centers.

Tyspeed was founded on a simple principle:
Deliver BMW-focused service with unmatched attention to detail, skill, and integrity.

Today, our team is made up of dedicated BMW enthusiasts and motorsport veterans. Whether we’re preparing a daily-driven 3-series or a track-focused M-car, we approach every job with the same commitment to precision, safety, and performance.

Shop Dog. My dad brought me to this crazy place in the beginning of 2020. What a crazy year. Lots of weird noises and loud sounds happen here but I am pretty used to them now. I like to get nice pets during the day from my brothers and the nice people who come in to see me. Dad says I can be a little jumpy but he knows I mean well and I just want people to see me because I am a little short.
